With the win, Aplington-Parkersburg upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Falcons host Hudson (Hudson, IA) to clash with the Pirates in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Hudson won 80-66 in their recent league bout against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA)

Next up, the J-Hawks clash with the Union Knights (La Porte City, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Jesup will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 80-60 league loss to Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA).
