The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers basketball team (Severn, MD), was overwhelmed 81-49 in Monday's league battle with the host Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD)
The Gaels now possess a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenelg Country for a MIAA A - Red battle on Wednesday, February 1.
The Cavaliers (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Panthers come into the MIAA A - Red battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, Pallotti was overwhelmed by St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD), 104-66, in a non-league battle.
