Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA), 71-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Coon Rapids-Bayard upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to CAM (Anita, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 8-7. CAM won 78-43 in their recent non-league bout against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Boyer Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 89-56 non-league win over Panorama (Panora, IA).
