The Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) basketball knocked off the host Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL), 56-44 in Monday's non-league test.
The Vikings (21-7) will now prepare for their test against Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Fayette County went down by Hubbertville (Fayette, AL), 73-9, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to Carbon Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Cordova will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 75-64 non-league win over Addison (Addison, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-6.
