The Newberry Indians (Newberry, MI) basketball knocked off the host Engadine Eagles (Engadine, MI), 47-31 in Monday's league test.
The Indians (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI). The Chiefs go into the Straits Area test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Cheboygan went down by Onaway (Onaway, MI), 65-45, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Alanson for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31.
