The Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) basketball knocked off the host South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA), 59-40 in Monday's league test.

The Bulldogs (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA). The Spartans go into the Eastern test with a 10-16 record. In their last test, Huntington Park went down by South Gate (South Gate, CA), 62-45, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Legacy for a Eastern test on Wednesday, February 1. South East will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 68-44 league win over Bell (Bell, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-6.
