Gibraltar Vikings (Fish Creek, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Oneida Nation Thunderhawks (Oneida, WI), 60-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gibraltar upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Vikings host Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran (Green Bay, WI) to play the Blazers in a Packerland bout on Friday, February 3. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran won 62-59 in their recent league bout against Algoma (Algoma, WI)

Next up, the Thunderhawks play the Crivitz Wolverines (Crivitz, WI) in a Marinette & Oconto bout, on Thursday, February 2. Oneida Nation will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 17-0 record after their 61-45 league win over Coleman (Coleman, WI).
