In Monday's league outing, the St. Johns Redskins (St. Johns, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ), by a count of 70-37.
The Redskins (12-12) will now prepare for their outing against Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Elks go into the 2A North outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, Round Valley smashed Safford (Safford, AZ), 41-36, in a non-league outing.
The Bruins now hold a 12-13 record.
