In Monday's non-league outing, the Palmetto Tigers (Palmetto, FL) basketball squad beat the visiting IMG Academy Black Ascenders (Bradenton, FL), by a margin of 70-57.
The Tigers (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Booker (Sarasota, FL). The Tornadoes go into the non-league outing with a 10-14 record. In their last outing, Booker was beaten by Southeast (Bradenton, FL), 71-65, in a non-league outing.
The Ascenders now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to The First Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. IMG Academy Black will clash with a Royals squad coming off a 78-76 non-league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Lakeland, FL). The Royals record now stands at 15-8.
