Out-of-Door Academy Thunder (Sarasota, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL), 55-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Out-of-Door Academy upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Thunder travel to Sarasota Military Academy (Sarasota, FL) to play the Eagles in a 3A District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-15. Sarasota Military Academy lost 70-38 in their recent non-league bout against The Classical Academy of Sarasota (Sarasota, FL)

Next up, the Gators play the Oasis Sharks (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Island Coast will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 55-51 non-league win over Southwest Florida Christian (Fort Myers, FL).
