The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI), 59-58 in Monday's league test.

The Maroon Giants (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Blue Devils go into the Southwestern Michigan - East test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Gull Lake was tipped by Otsego (Otsego, MI), 75-55, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Portage Northern for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Norrix will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 62-50 non-league loss to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 3-11.
