California High School Basketball - Wasco knocked off by Kennedy

The Kennedy Thunderbirds basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Wasco Tigers to 48 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Monday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McFarland for a South Sequoia contest on Friday, February 3. Kennedy will meet a Cougars team coming off a 61-55 league loss to Taft (Taft, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-14.

The Tigers (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Chavez (Delano, CA). The Titans enter the South Sequoia contest with a 18-7 record. In their last contest, Chavez ran past Delano (Delano, CA), 48-41, in a league contest.
