Connecticut High School Basketball - Nonnewaug can't hold off Wamogo

The Wamogo Warriors basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Nonnewaug Chiefs to 59 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Housatonic-Wamogo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Wamogo will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 96-44 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-12.
The Chiefs (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Woodland Regional nudged St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT), 77-62, in a non-league contest.
