Richmond Blue Devils (Richmond, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI), 65-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Richmond upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Algonac (Algonac, MI) to play the Muskrats in a Blue Water Area bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Muskrats come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Algonac lost 83-46 in their recent league bout against Imlay City (Imlay City, MI)

Next up, the Mariners play the St. Clair Saints (St. Clair, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Marine City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 39-36 league win over Port Huron (Port Huron, MI).
