Florida High School Basketball - Union County nips Middleburg

Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Middleburg Broncos (Middleburg, FL), 74-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Union County upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Fightin' Tigers host Interlachen (Interlachen, FL) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 17-7. Interlachen lost 83-53 in their recent non-league bout against Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL)

Next up, the Broncos play the Beaches Chapel Lions (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Middleburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record.
