Sumner Tigers (East Sullivan, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME), 60-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Sumner upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Searsport (Searsport, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a C North bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Searsport won 49-46 in their recent league bout against Central (East Corinth, ME)

Next up, the Knights clash with the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) in a C North bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Narraguagus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 83-65 league loss to Calais (Calais, ME).
