The Philadelphia Christian School Eagles basketball team (Calhoun, GA), was overwhelmed 68-33 in Monday's league battle with the host North Georgia Christian Academy Knights (Ellijay, GA)
The Knights now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friendship Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. North Georgia Christian Academy will battle a Spartans team coming off a 69-60 non-league win over Mountain Area Christian Academy (Morganton, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 13-8.
The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Area Christian Academy (Morganton, GA). The Lions come into the GCAA Region I battle with a 19-3 record. In their last battle, Mountain Area Christian Academy trounced Eastgate Life Academy (Hiawassee, GA), 77-52, in a league battle.
