Colorado High School Basketball - The Academy nipped by Peak to Peak

January 30, 2023: Lafayette, CO 80026

The Peak to Peak Pumas got by the visiting The Academy Wildcats basketball squad by a count of 54-49 in Monday's league challenge.

With the victory, Peak to Peak upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Pumas host Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO) to play the Farmers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Wheat Ridge lost 63-50 in their recent league challenge against Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Faith Christian Eagles (Arvada, CO) in a 4A/3A Metropolitan challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. The Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 103-47 non-league win over Middle Park (Granby, CO).
