In Monday's non-league outing, the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), by a count of 55-42.

The Patriots (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas go into the C North outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Lee Academy was topped by Calais (Calais, ME), 73-65, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Penobscot Valley for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 1. Schenck will clash with a Howlers squad coming off a 55-43 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Howlers record now stands at 8-7.
