In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Organ Mountain Knights basketball team scored a tight 37-33 triumph over the Mayfield Trojans.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 2. Organ Mountain will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 40-30 non-league win over Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
With the defeat, Mayfield moves to 3-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to meet the Bulldawgs in a non-league match on Thursday, February 2. The Bulldawgs enter the match with a record of 6-0.
