The Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) basketball knocked off the host Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), 58-43 in Monday's league test.
The Quips (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Bulldogs go into the WPIAL 2A 1 test with a 14-3 record.
The now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to New Brighton for a WPIAL 2A 1 test on Thursday, February 2. Sewickley Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 62-10 league loss to Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Lions record now stands at 0-14.
