California High School Basketball - Anzar can't hold off York

The York Falcons basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Anzar Hawks to 31 in the Falcons league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ceiba College Preparatory Academy for a PCAL - Arroyo contest on Wednesday, February 1. York will battle a Spartans team coming off a 32-18 league loss to Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-7.

The Hawks (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Ceiba College Preparatory Academy (Watsonville, CA). The Spartans enter the PCAL - Arroyo contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Ceiba College Preparatory Academy was nudged by York (Monterey, CA), 50-26, in a league contest.
