The Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) basketball nipped the visiting St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), 38-35 in Monday's non-league test.
The Grizzlies (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts go into the 5A Midwestern test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Thurston was tipped by Crater (Central Point, OR), 73-32, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Glide for a 3A Far West test on Wednesday, February 1.
