The Beaver Falls Tigers basketball team (Beaver Falls, PA), was nudged 57-55 in Monday's league battle with the host Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA)
The Warriors now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellwood City for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Thursday, February 2. Mohawk Area will confront a Wolverine team coming off a 51-21 non-league loss to Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 8-11.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine come into the WPIAL 3A 1 battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Ellwood City was nudged by Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA), 51-40, in a league battle.
