Hesperia Christian Patriots (Hesperia, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), 48-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Hesperia Christian upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to University Prep (Victorville, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Cross Valley bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 7-9. University Prep lost 40-25 in their recent league bout against Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) in a Cross Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Big Bear will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 58-1 league win over Excelsior Charter (Victorville, CA).
