In Monday's league match, the host Central Dragons basketball team scored a good 56-47 triumph over the Bishop Carroll Huskies.
In their next game, the Dragons meet the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) in a Laurel Highlands match, on Wednesday, February 1. Central will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 13-2 record after their 57-26 league win over Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA).
With the defeat, Bishop Carroll moves to 8-9 on the year. The Huskies host Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA) to meet the Lions in a Laurel Highlands match on Thursday, February 2.
