In Monday's non-league outing, the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME), by a count of 54-28.
The Blue Devils (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Schenck was crushed by Machias (Machias, ME), 51-31, in a league outing.
The Royals now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Shead for a D North outing on Thursday, February 2. Jonesport-Beals will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 38-35 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 1-13.
