The Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders basketball team (Blackville, SC), was nudged 34-28 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC)
The Cavaliers now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cathedral Academy for a SCISA AA Region I battle on Tuesday, January 31. Calhoun Academy will battle a Generals team coming off a 60-29 league win over Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt, SC). The Generals record now stands at 15-6.
The Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC). The Raiders come into the SCISA A Region I battle with a 1-5 record.
