Fillmore Flashes (Fillmore, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Carpinteria Warriors (Carpinteria, CA), 37-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Fillmore upgrades its record to 4-13 on the season. The Flashes travel to Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA) to clash with the Raiders in a Citrus Coast bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Channel Islands won 40-17 in their recent league bout against Malibu (Malibu, CA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Cate Rams (Carpinteria, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Carpinteria will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 64-10 league win over La Reina (Thousand Oaks, CA).
