Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks (Hendersonville, TN) and the visiting Christian Community Colts (White House, TN), saw Merrol Hyde Magnet's basketball squad overcome Christian Community by a tally of 47-38.

With the victory, Merrol Hyde Magnet improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to East Robertson (Cross Plains, TN) to confront the Indians in a 1A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. East Robertson won 46-39 in their recent non-league challenge against White House-Heritage (White House, TN)

Next up, the Colts confront the Dickson Academy Falcons (Burns, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Christian Community will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 69-30 league loss to Boyd Christian (McMinnville, TN).
