In Monday's league match, the visiting Taft Toreadors basketball team scored a tight 45-38 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In their next game, the Toreadors face the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) in a West Valley match, on Wednesday, February 1. Taft will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record.
