The Valwood Valiants basketball team (Valdosta, GA), dropped 57-46 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Crisp Academy Wildcats (Cordele, GA)
The Wildcats now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Georgia Arts for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2. Crisp Academy will confront a team coming off a 53-21 non-league loss to Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The record now stands at 4-5.
The Valiants (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA). The Panthers come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Tiftarea Academy beat Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 56-47, in a non-league battle.
