Louisiana High School Basketball - Delta Charter overwhelms Sicily Island

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Delta Charter Storm (Ferriday, LA) and the host Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), saw Delta Charter's basketball squad wallop Sicily Island by a count of 67-27.
With the victory, Delta Charter upgrades its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Tensas (St. Joseph, LA) to play the Panthers in a 1A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.
Next up, the Tigers play the Delhi Charter Gators (Delhi, LA) in a 1A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Sicily Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
