The Depew Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting East Aurora Blue Devils to 41 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III game, on Thursday, February 2. Depew will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Flyers enter the game with a 6-8 record after their 45-33 league loss to Lake Shore (Angola, NY).

With the defeat, East Aurora moves to 9-4 on the year. The Blue devils host Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY) to face the Panthers in a Section 6 Erie County III game on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 11-4. Pioneer won 68-35 in their recent league game against Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY)
