Illinois High School Basketball - Midland can't hold off Dwight

The Dwight Trojans basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Midland Timberwolves to 45 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Dwight will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 43-30 league loss to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-14.
The Timberwolves (8-22) will now prepare for their contest against Henry-Senachwine/Lowpoint-Washburn (Henry, IL). The enter the Tri-County contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Henry-Senachwine/Lowpoint-Washburn was nudged by Putnam County (Granville, IL), 51-37, in a league contest.
