Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA) and the visiting East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA), saw Sherman Oaks CES's basketball squad hold off East Valley by a count of 30-27.

With the victory, Sherman Oaks CES upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA) to play the Pumas in a Valley challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Pumas come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Northridge Academy won 38-23 in their recent league challenge against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Vaughn White Tigers (San Fernando, CA) in a Valley challenge, on Thursday, February 2. East Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The White Tigers come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 36-10 league win over Fulton (Van Nuys, CA).
