Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Foxcroft None (Middleburg, VA), 37-26 in a league bout.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Wakefield (The Plains, VA) to play the Fighting Owls in a Greater Piedmont bout on Thursday, February 2. The Fighting Owls go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Wakefield won 56-8 in their recent league bout against Quantico (Quantico, VA)
Next up, the None play the Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a Greater Piedmont bout, on Friday, February 3. Foxcroft will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
