Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Galva Wildcats (Galva, IL), 48-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Stark County upgrades its record to 6-20 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Annawan (Annawan, IL) to play the Braves in a Lincoln Trail bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 19-7. Annawan won 57-24 in their recent league bout against Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL) in a Lincoln Trail bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Galva will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 12-13 record after their 47-37 league loss to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL).
