Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Greene winner over Geibel Catholic

The West Greene Pioneers (Waynesburg, PA) basketball felled the visiting Geibel Catholic Gators (Connellsville, PA), 64-47 in Monday's league test.
The Pioneers (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Monessen (Monessen, PA). The Greyhounds go into the WPIAL 1A 2 test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Monessen thwarted Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA), 63-27, in a league test.
The Gators now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Mapletown for a WPIAL 1A 2 test on Thursday, February 2. Geibel Catholic will encounter a Maples squad coming off a 58-34 league loss to Avella (Avella, PA). The Maples record now stands at 6-11.
