The Greenhills Gryphons basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers to 24 in the Gryphons league triumph on Monday.

The Gryphons now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everest Collegiate for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1. Greenhills will meet a team coming off a 33-23 league win over Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI). The record now stands at 8-3.

The Lakers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Cranes enter the Catholic Intersectional I contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Cranbrook Kingswood was nudged by Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI), 39-24, in a league contest.
