The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Hampton Christian Academy Warriors (Hampton, VA), 50-35 in Monday's non-league test.

The Chargers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA). The Seahawks go into the non-league test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Atlantic Shores Christian notched a victory over Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA), 51-14, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Denbigh Baptist Christian for a Metropolitan test on Tuesday, January 31. Hampton Christian Academy will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 27-1 league win over Gateway Christian (Virginia Beach, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 9-8.
