Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hudson Falls Tigers (Hudson Falls, NY), 58-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Schuylerville upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Horses host Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY) to clash with the Rams in a Section 2 Foothills bout on Thursday, February 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Amsterdam won 81-80 in their recent league bout against Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills bout, on Thursday, February 2. Hudson Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 57-22 league win over Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY).
