In Monday's league outing, the Keene Central Beavers (Keene Valley, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Wells Indians (Wells, NY), by a margin of 53-14.

The Beavers (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Minerva (Olmstedville, NY). The Mountaineers go into the Section 7 Mountain and Valley II outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Minerva was trounced by Willsboro Central (Willsboro, NY), 40-24, in a league outing.

The Indians now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Crown Point for a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II outing on Thursday, February 2. Wells will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 60-25 league loss to Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-12.
