With the victory, Lake Highlands upgrades its record to 12-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Irving (Irving, TX) to play the Tigers in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-20. Irving lost 39-26 in their recent league challenge against Nimitz (Irving, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Pearce will attempt to upgrade on its 16-15 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 14-14 record after their 51-34 league win over MacArthur (Irving, TX).
