The Laurel Spartan basketball team (New Castle, PA), dropped 72-55 in Monday's league battle with the host Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA)

The Lancers now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Thursday, February 2. Neshannock will battle a Panthers team coming off a 52-33 league loss to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-12.
