The Tharptown Wildcats basketball team (Russellville, AL), was overwhelmed 53-26 in Monday's league battle with the host Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL)
The Golden Bears now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Lexington will battle a Warriors team coming off a 52-37 non-league loss to Elkmont (Elkmont, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 12-11.
The Wildcats (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 11-6 record.
