Texas High School Basketball - Lone Oak thwarts Prairiland

The Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX), 42-25 in Monday's league test.
The Buffaloes (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 14-18 record.
The Patriots now own a 1-24 record. They play next when they host Chisum for a 3A Region II District 12 test on Friday, February 3. Prairiland will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 44-42 league loss to Commerce (Commerce, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-18.
