The Quincy Trojans basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Loyalton Grizzlies to 35 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redding Christian for a Five Star contest on Tuesday, January 31. Quincy will battle a Lions team coming off a 54-44 league win over Portola (Portola, CA). The Lions record now stands at 8-7.
The Grizzlies (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Westwood, CA). The Lumberjacks enter the Pioneer contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Westwood ran past Princeton (Princeton, CA), 60-21, in a league contest.
