Arizona High School Basketball - Marcos de Niza trounced by Saguaro

In Monday's league match, the host Saguaro Sabercats basketball team scored a decisive 80-5 triumph over the Marcos de Niza Padres.

In their next game, the Sabercats face the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky match, on Wednesday, February 1. Saguaro will attempt to move on its 17-7 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 7-15 record after their 57-27 league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).

With the defeat, Marcos de Niza moves to 0-19 on the year. The Padres travel to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Desert Sky match on Wednesday, February 1.
