In Monday's league outing, the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL), by a margin of 62-26.

The Rockets (15-11) will now prepare for their outing against Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Peoria Christian was trounced by Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL), 68-19, in a non-league outing.

The Crusaders now own a 13-15 record. They play next when they host Putnam County for a Tri-County outing on Thursday, February 2. Marquette will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 51-37 league win over Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 21-7.
